The Mark La Rioja, Biosphere Reserve is a symbol that endorses socially responsible products and services developed within the Reserve. By granting the use of the mark, the Government of La Rioja states that the registered company respects and promotes the values of sustainability in each of its actions, whether in the social, economic or environmental spheres. La marca, en definitiva, identifica a empresas transparentes, responsables con el medio ambiente, con los consumidores y también con sus trabajadores.

The Biosphere Reserve of the Leza, Jubera, Cidacos and Alhama de La Rioja Valleys. The Biosphere Reserve of La Rioja is a special ecological area recognized by UNESCO, which seeks the development of its inhabitants in line with environmental conservation, conserving landscapes, species, ecosystems and biodiversity. Well, Biosphere Reserves are areas of terrestrial or coastal ecosystems promoting solutions to reconcile the conservation of biodiversity with its sustainable use. These areas are recognized by the UNESCO due to their richness of wild animals, their diversity of plants and a high quality of water and air; there is no pollution. Taking into ccount the importance of natural resources in these areas, the different governments control human activities there, so no aggressive substances (chemicals, etc.) can damage that biodiversity. Our winery and our vineyards are located in one of those areas.
